Yup, I spoke with the director of MTN's ISP operations in South Africa
about this while I was there for Internet Week and the AfriNIC meeting. I
think everybody's in agreement about what needs to happen, and I think
many or most people are viewing MTN as being the best-positioned party to
get to multiple exchanges first, and begin carrying international traffic.
